PAINT

Car painting involves applying layers of paint to the vehicle's body. This process typically includes preparing the surface, applying primer, adding layers of paint, and finishing with clear coat for protection. Paint can be customized in terms of color, and various finishes such as glossy, matte, or metallic are available.

VINYL WRAP

In a car wrap, a vinyl film is applied to the exterior surfaces of the vehicle. The vinyl is available in various colors, finishes, and textures. The process involves carefully adhering the vinyl to the car's body, and it can be done with precision to cover specific areas or the entire vehicle.

*Our shop is limited to color-changing wraps only, we do not specialize in commercial or exotic pattern wraps, nor do we print*

What's the difference?

Cost:

Car Wrapping: Wrapping a car is often more cost-effective than a full repaint. It allows you to change the appearance of your vehicle without the higher costs associated with professional painting services.

Car Painting: Painting a car can be more expensive, especially if you choose custom colors, high-quality paint, or special finishes. The cost also depends on the extent of the paint job (partial or full).

Time:

Car Wrapping: Wrapping is generally a quicker process compared to painting. It can often be done in a shorter timeframe, and there is minimal downtime for your vehicle.

Car Painting: Painting can take more time, especially if it involves extensive preparation, multiple coats, and drying times between layers. The process may require your car to be out of commission for a longer period.

Reversibility:

Car Wrapping: Wraps are generally considered reversible. If you decide to change the look of your car again or want to revert to the original color, the vinyl wrap can be removed, but sometimes may damage or peel off the paint below.

Car Painting: Once a car is painted, reversing the process is more difficult and may require additional work to restore the original finish. Since it is a more secure surface.

Protection:

Car Wrapping: Wrap lasts about 4-7 years depending on care.

Car Painting: Paint lasts up to 10-15 years depending on care.

Look:

Car Wrapping: Car wrapping offers a ton of color mix and heavy metallic options, but do tend to have incurable orange peel. (Dryer Look)

Car Painting: Car painting, when cleared right, has the softness to be able to be buffed & polished, get show ready, and the possibility to remove all orange peel. This allows it to give your car that glossy wet glass-like look that we all love.

Ultimately, the choice between car wrapping and painting depends on your preferences, budget, and the level of customization you desire for your vehicle. Each option has its advantages and considerations.
